Severe windstorm possible next week
From a few updates GFS is showing a very strong windstorm over British Islands, France and Germany, which in the weaker form will go above Poland.
To this event only 5 days left and forecasts with the next updates are more and more certain, so we can expect the next strong break in the weather.
Currently west part of the country is most threatened with strong wind gusts where wind could reach speeds about 100-110km/h. Above the rest of
the country it also would be windy - expected gusts could reach 80-90km/h. A perpetrator of this heavy windstorm would be of course a deep low
which centre would go above British Isles and North Sea. The pressure in the middle of this disorder could fall even to 950 hPa. Apart from
a strong wind an intense rainfall would appear, sleet and snow. In some places blizzards and snowstorms would be expected.

It's worthwhile watching next model updates because everything is being heralded very curiously. If significant changes in forecasts will happen I will
write about it in the next article.
